Tax & Bookkeeping Manager (Remote)CPA firm is looking for a part-time remote tax manager with the ability to review bookkeeping & tax work prepared by others.
Job Details & RequirementsThis position can lead to a full time position.
The candidate must be experienced with QuickBooks Online and a have minimum of ten years experience at a public accounting firm.
CPA license a plus.
Previous experience reviewing financial statements and tax returns prepared by others is a requirement.
Strong understanding of basis calculations and K-1 reporting is a plus.
Know how to review tax basis financial statements from start to finish Familiar with how to handle payroll processing & reporting.
Ability to deal with the IRS on various issues.
Ability to schedule work for self and others to hit deadlines in a remote environment.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to identify process improvements and communicate those.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Previous experience preparing and reviewing 1040, 1065 & 1120s and 1120 tax forms, CCH Axcess experience preferred.
Previous experience working remotely is a must.
Experience in basic tax researchRole & Compensation:
The role will involve engaging with our team remotely and completing recurring projects along with annual tax work.
It will also involve direct contact with clients and partners.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
