) Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP's) ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Supervises and leads the lab techs.
Finds savings and improvements in the laboratory.
Supervises and implements the Good Laboratory Practices (GLP's), Reports any issue (food safety, quality, legality, etc.
), necessity, or improvement area to the QA director immediately upon becoming aware.
Responsible for implementing and improving food safety/BRCGS and quality assurance policies including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) according to 21 CFR 17.
Verifies compliance with the regulatory requirements (FDA, FSMA, BRCGS, ETC).
Attends all meeting with auditors.
Verifies compliance with certifications (VEGAN, NON-GMO, HALAL, OU, BRCGS).
